Create a User Account by visiting the login page here, select "Join" and enter your details.

Once you're registered, you'll be asked to fill in some general information about your golf facility and role before getting started.

1. Visit the login page here and select "Update login details / reset password".
2. Enter your email address and select "Reset Password".
3. Within five days, visit your email inbox and open the email titled "Oncourse Password Reset" and select "Reset Password".
4. Enter your new password and select "confirm password" and then log in with your new details.

1. "Facility Profile" on the OnCourse Dashboard.
2. Under "General information" select "Upload Logo" or "Upload Image".
3. Select the correct logo/image from your computer and then "Open".
4. Use the green bar to zoom in on your logo/image and then select "crop and upload".

Tip: To avoid performance issues, your logos and images must be under 1mb. This should be okay for most logos and images but for larger pictures, you may need to reduce the size.

1. You will be asked to select a language when you first set up your User Account. However, if you missed that, or would like to change it, select "Facility profile on the OnCourse Dashboard.
2. Under "Settings", select your language from the dropdown menu and then select "Save" at the top right.
3. Language selection goes with the User, not the facility account – so your facility account can be used in different languages by different people.

Tip: GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf partners with many national golf associations in the delivery of national versions of OnCourse, including local languages. If you don’t see your language, it will mean we do not yet have a partnership in a country speaking that language.  Also, sometimes there is a delay between a change made and getting the translation from the partner, in which case we use automatic translation as a temporary solution. 

1. The information shown in the ‘Guidance’ button is determined by the country address of the golf facility.  This is set during the creation of the Facility Account.
2. You can check or change this by selecting "Facility Profile" on the OnCourse Dashboard.
3. Under "General information" select the "Country" dropdown and choose your country.
4. Content in the Best Practices and Annual Data will now be specific to your country if any different guidance or resources have been added.

1. Select "Facility Profile" on the OnCourse Dashboard.
2. Under "Facility Team", choose "Invite New People".
3. Enter your colleague's email address and leave a message in the invitation text.
4. Your colleague will receive an email letting them sign up with their own details and then join your facility.

Tip: Make sure to check spam and junk folders if your colleague cannot initially find the email. They have five days to accept the email. Otherwise, you can repeat the process and select “re-invite”.

Tip: OnCourse can be shared with numerous team members across different departments. Try splitting the data input between experts in each area and use the notes feature to let each team member know how you're getting on.

1. Click on "Documents Library" from the OnCourse Dashboard.
2. Select "Upload Document" and then "Choose File" where you can select multiple documents you want to upload from your computer.
3. Enter a brief description for your document and then choose the folder you'd like to store it.

Tip: Make use of the different folders in the Documents Library to make it easier for you and your team to find the relevant files.  It’s also a good idea to add the date in the file name.

OnCourse offers two custom annual sustainability reports. The Sustainability Review gives an overview of your best practices and graphs of your key data trends. The sustainability scorecard features metrics from every year you've entered data for as well as your carbon report. 

To receive these reports:

1. Visit the "Improve" section of OnCourse and then select "Request Reports" on the Reports page.
2. This will open up your email and have a draft message ready to send to the GEO Team.
3. Simply add in your club's name and the years you would like included in your reports and we will get back to you.

Tip: The Sustainability Scorecard is custom made to share internally with your staff to see where you can improve or where you might want to promote good work. The Sustainability Review is designed to help represent your environmental and social value to committees, golfers and the wider community.

GEO Certified is a comprehensive modern certification, developed to the highest credibility standard, to help golf facilities, developments and tournaments demonstrate and be recognised for their environmental and social responsibility.

To become GEO Certified:

1. Complete the OnCourse Best Practices section (you must complete all action marked with a green flag which means they are required for certification)
2. Input the last complete calendar year of data into Annual Data section (3-years are required if renewing certification)
3. Create a minimum of three sustainability Highlights
4. Request an initial review of the information in your OnCourse account by contacting GEO Foundation

The second certification is after three years, then every five years in most countries. 

• Certification administration fee is €450 | £400 | $500
• Verification fee is paid to the accredited Verifier. Guide fee begins at €850 | £800 | $1000 plus any travel expenses.  This will be higher if the visit is in-person rather than virtual and also if the site is more than 18-holes and there are some variations by country as well.   Please get in touch with us to find out your costs.

1. Visit the "Communication" section in OnCourse.
2. The "Materials and Resources" section provides downloadable content to help introduce OnCourse to your committee, spread awareness on your website and social media and communicate with your staff and golfers.
3. The "Campaign Kits" are ready-made resources and guidance for you to run successful initiatives at your course on a range of issues.

Tip: Also link to your sustainability profile page from your website and social media pages. This page includes all your sustainability highlights and Certification reports.

The Sustainable Golf Highlight Gallery contains over 1000 ideas and examples of golf clubs across the world.

1. Visit the Highlights page here and select "Share Your Highlight". 
2. Select your language from the dropdown at the top right and then work through the submission form.
3. Write a description of what sustainability work you've been doing at your course and add some pictures.

Tip: If you are OnCourse, you will receive your own sustainability profile page which links to all of your highlights. You can link to this page from your website and social media.
