Since 2012, British photographer Andy Hiseman has produced new collections of images for over 100 golf clubs and resorts in the UK and Europe.
Although best-known for his golf course photographs, his portfolio at www.hisemanphoto.com is also full of characterful images of golfers, PGA golf coaches and the warm atmosphere found at golf clubs. He offers a ‘whole club’ service where he also takes facilities, F&B and other marketing images alongside photos of the golf course.
“I have been a golfer since the age of five, so a golf course feels like home to me” he says. “To be there at dawn – just me, the creatures that live on the golf course, and the rising sun – can be a transcendental experience, and I always feel privileged to be there. I am always learning, and every photoshoot is totally different. I meet a lot of great characters, and enjoy photographing them as much as the golf courses they play on.”
As a former publisher at Europe’s largest group of golf magazines, including TODAY’S GOLFER and GOLF WORLD, his close work with editors enables him to deliver images that not only sell golf magazines and marketing campaigns but also drive visitors to websites and social media feeds.
Hiseman has worked in the media for 35 years, is married with a young family, and is a passionate Leeds United supporter. As well as his photography he has a PR and advertising business and is also General Manager at Zen Green Stage.
