Provision Events create immersive and interactive experiences, such as fan zones.

Through their Provision Green policy, the sports activation agency is aligned to the UN Sustainable Goals, including climate action and gender equality, and recognises the environmental and social impact of their events. In becoming an Innovation Partner of GEO Foundation, they will be continuing on their mission to incorporate more sustainable approaches within their services.

“We are delighted to welcome such an exciting and innovative international brand as Provision Events in becoming an Innovation Partner,” said Jonathan Smith, Executive Director and Founder of GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf. “Provision Events has already demonstrated great leadership in ensuring sustainability is at the forefront of their activations and through their commitment to making a valid contribution to climate action within the sports industry. We’re grateful to welcome them as an Innovation Partner and are looking forward to continuing to support them as they engage fans at some of the biggest events on the sporting calendar.”

Gary Whelan, Managing Partner of Provision Events, said: “We recognise that our operations have an environmental and social impact, and it is our responsibility to act in a meaningful way to address the Climate Emergency. We are excited to be taking this journey as an Innovation Partner with GEO Foundation and by taking action, sharing best practice and knowledge we can help inspire change across the events industry.”

The partnership will see joint activation around relevant dates such as World Environment Day, Earth Day and Sustainable Golf Week activations, furthering sustainability in and through golf.
