The international certification was earned after successfully meeting the industry-standard best practices and demonstrating our commitment to make sustainability of central importance to our golf facility. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to visit TPC Deere Run. The course clearly has a strong commitment to sustainability. They work hard to integrate nature into every round played on the course. The naturalized areas for wildlife and pollinators are visible on every hole. The commitment to preserving historical and cultural areas in and around the course are commendable. The charitable contributions that the course provides to the community through the PGA Tour and other events, are truly impressive. The course should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished. I’m excited to see what they will accomplish in the future.”
