GEO Certified

Through becoming GEO Certified we have achieved the most widely regarded and credible sustainability distinction in golf.  The international certification was earned after successfully meeting the industry-standard best practices and demonstrating our commitment to make sustainability of central importance to our golf facility.  We're proud of our social and environmental value - and looking forward to doing even more on our sustainability journey.

Notable Observations

  • Detailed Tree Mapping and Wildlife Survey A full property map is maintained showing all tree species across the site. This is supported by a detailed bird survey completed in 2024, providing a clear record of wildlife present on the course.
  • Protected Species Awareness and Management The White-bellied Sea Eagle, listed as near-threatened, has been identified on site. All staff understand the legal protections in place, including restrictions on tree trimming along waterways.
  • Retention of Natural Forest Areas Pockets of natural forest are retained around the course perimeter. These areas are managed as natural or naturalised zones within an otherwise tightly designed course layout.
  • On-Site Water Storage for Irrigation Irrigation water is sourced directly from lakes located on the property. This provides a self-contained water source for course operations.
  • Integrated Irrigation Monitoring Systems A Rainbird weather station and central irrigation software are in use to manage watering. Portable soil moisture probes are also used to identify areas requiring additional hand watering.
  • Solar Panels Offsetting Energy Use Large solar panels are installed on site. These contribute to offsetting a portion of the club’s electricity demand.
  • Active School Golf Programme The club partners with Angsana Primary School, with students visiting the course for golf lessons. These sessions are delivered by club coaches as part of an outreach programme.
  • Charity-Led Corporate Golf Events Around 40% of corporate golf days hosted at the club support charitable causes. Beneficiaries include organisations such as Fathers of Singapore and Children in Need.
