Through becoming GEO Certified we have achieved the most widely regarded and credible sustainability distinction in golf. The international certification was earned after successfully meeting the industry-standard best practices and demonstrating our commitment to make sustainability of central importance to our golf facility. We're proud of our social and environmental value - and looking forward to doing even more on our sustainability journey.

Royal Portrush Golf Club continues to demonstrate best-in-class attributes across its sustainable golf activities and operations. It has used its previous success with The Open Championship to set the scene for further advancements ahead of its return in 2025. These include extending the naturalisation of the two courses, protection of the dunes from coastal erosion, investment in state-ofthe-art equipment, reduction in the use of hydrocarbon fuels and on-site energy generation, increased community outreach, but by also committing to be carbon neutral. I wish the Club and is dedicated team all the very best for the ongoing and well-deserved retained recognition of its excellent sustainable golf journey.
