Through becoming GEO Certified we have achieved the most widely regarded and credible sustainability distinction in golf. The international certification was earned after successfully meeting the industry-standard best practices and demonstrating our commitment to make sustainability of central importance to our golf facility. We're proud of our social and environmental value - and looking forward to doing even more on our sustainability journey.

Kungsbacka Golfklubb, with its well-maintained club area and the 18-hole course in diverse habitat types, is a beautiful place to golf and visit. The club has a solid knowledge of how nature and wildlife at the course should be managed. That is essential for the biodiversity and conservation of red-listed species in the area. After investments in renewable energy sources and charging stations, the sustainability challenges lie in maintaining course quality in droughts and large amounts of precipitation. I look forward to seeing long-term and priority action plans for resource-efficient irrigation in the upcoming business plan and also the club’s value-creating work ‘Keep an eye on the ball.
