“The course is naturally integrated with diverse habitats including mountain pine forests, alpine meadows, and nationally significant dry grasslands. These features provide critical refuge for a variety of native species. Its setting within a designated wildlife refuge and groundwater protection zone highlights its environmental relevance. The current management shows a clear commitment to sustainable practices, with limited chemical use, efficient irrigation sourced from local natural springs, and a focus on soil and plant vitality through mechanical and biological methods. These efforts reflect a solid foundation in ecological stewardship and responsible turf care. At the same time, opportunities remain to enhance the site's ecological value. The development of a comprehensive biodiversity strategy—including habitat mapping and a detailed flora and fauna inventory—would represent a significant step forward. Collaborating with local conservation specialists would ensure scientific accuracy and strengthen long-term conservation outcomes.”
