As a key part of the IGF Sustainability Roadmap, World Amateur Team Championships (WATC) at Tanah Merah Country Club is a plastic-free event. WATC branded water bottles were distributed to all on-course support volunteers, officials, players and VIP ticket holders.
To further support this initiative, additional water dispensers were also installed in the buggy area complementing the existing water stations across the golf course. This ensures convenient access to free potable water for all on-course support volunteers, officials and players to fill their water bottles from.
