Volunteers help to promote and control gorse

We have a fabulous group of volunteers who help around the course & property. They help our fantastic greens team to keep Pannal GC looking sharp - one of their highlights from the last 12 months has been the controlling and promoting growth from Gorse management.

Our environment, diversity and sustainability is critical, therefore the plant management of our Gorse areas is high on the agenda. It supports a massive amount of wildlife and adds stunning yellow flowers. In many cases, it is also part of the challenge of playing golf at Pannal GC. Volunteers and Greens Team have worked together and made a fabulous job of this (see photos). This is a highlight, nicely including many of our aims in one, of both Pannal GC and GEO....
