In 2024 we spent time carrying out important tree maintenance around the course (cutting branches and pine trunks) and the material was then collected and shredded on-site. The wood chips were then used to improve the non-playable areas of the golf courses and the landscaped areas surrounding the course. In some of these areas, the turf was replaced with wood chips which has made it possible to reduce water, pesticides, and fertiliser consumption as well as the time spent by the maintenance team working on these areas creating a more efficient maintenance program.
