As part of our habitat management programme and routine turfgrass maintenance, the club generates a significant volume of green waste. Rather than sending this material for disposal, it is composted on site to create a valuable natural resource.
The compost is stored in designated composting areas before being made available to staff for use in their home gardens and vegetable plots. Surplus compost is also shared with the local community, helping to support home growing while reducing waste and promoting the reuse of natural materials.
By transforming green waste into a useful product, the club supports circular resource management and demonstrates its commitment to sustainable land management and environmental stewardship.
