At Kuo Hua Golf & Country Club, we believe that memorable achievements deserve lasting recognition. Rather than using traditional paper certificates, we have repurposed fallen timber from across the course to create bespoke awards for Hole-in-One and Eagle achievements.
By carefully selecting and crafting reclaimed wood from trees that have naturally fallen or been removed as part of course management activities, each award becomes a unique piece that reflects the character of the landscape.
This initiative not only celebrates the accomplishments of our members and guests but also demonstrates our commitment to sustainability. By reusing natural materials already available on site, we reduce waste, minimise the use of new resources, and give a second life to timber that might otherwise have been discarded.
Through projects such as this, Kuo Hua Golf & Country Club continues to explore creative ways to combine environmental stewardship with meaningful experiences for players.
