Trees guarded with reused materials sourced from other golf courses

Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course

Hebridean Sheep from a local farm are utilised on the course each year from September to March to graze the rough grasslands and wildflower areas. Young trees are protected from sheep damage with guards constructed by re-using fenceposts, pallets and obsolete erosion control fencing sourced from St Andrews Links and North Berwick West Links.

These materials, which would be otherwise sent to landfill, are vital in our efforts to re-establish the original character of the Designed Landscape.
