Since 2024, one of our main objectives at Lundin Golf Club has been to increase the amount of electric machinery and equipment used on the course.
Over the past 16 months, we have added a fully electric ride-on mower, a utility vehicle, a course buggy, and several hand tools including a strimmer, backpack blower, and pedestrian rotary mower. All of this new equipment is fully electric and replaces a mixture of diesel and petrol-powered machinery. The equipment is charged during off-peak times to reduce energy costs.
This transition not only lowers fuel expenses but also reduces noise pollution and supports more environmentally friendly course operations.
