We have recently begun phasing out our fleet of petrol buggies and replacing them with new electric models. The electric buggies are significantly quieter on the course, which is especially beneficial where holes are close together, as it reduces disturbance for players. They are also far cheaper to recharge than petrol buggies are to refuel and produce no emissions at the point of use.
In addition, petrol buggies require annual servicing, including oil and filter changes, whereas electric buggies have far lower maintenance needs. Our electric fleet now totals 40 vehicles.
