As part of our move to improve upon all aspects of our environmental stewardship here at The Manor House Golf Club, we formed a new partnership with the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.
Based in The Cotswolds – one of the UK’s most loved areas of countryside – it will come as no surprise that wildlife is ever-present on our golf course. Since partnering with the trust, 18 habitat parcels have been placed around the course for assessment. Species reports are being compiled from these parcels and we will be creating a management plan for each area.
This will ensure we have a much better understanding of where wildlife is making home on our course and how we preserve habitats and encourage greater biodiversity, whilst maintaining the premium quality of course.
