We're delighted to announce that The Belfry has produced its very own gin, 1960, representing the year The Belfry was founded. The gin was created to give guests a unique and memorable experience, as well as to prove our loyalty to sustainability. To achieve this, we've incorporated botanicals and produce from across the resort into the blend, something we felt was crucial, to truly reflect The Belfry.
The gin is a delicious and distinct blend of home-grown vegetation and flowery notes from the roses and lavender in the resort’s courtyard, willow on the golf courses and honey from our very own ‘Belfry Bees’. Not only is this benefiting The Belfry by growing and using our own products, but also reduces the resources used to purchase them elsewhere. In line The Belfry's environmental policies, all empty 1960 bottles from the resort will be returned to the distillery to be refilled and redistributed.
