Tackling plastic pollution through community beach clean-up

This year’s theme for World Environment Day is #BeatPlasticPollution. To mark the occasion, we organised a beach clean-up in partnership with our local council in Kouklia.

On Friday 20 June 2025, participants met at the hotel before heading to Aphrodite’s Rock. Between 10:00 and 12:00, they collected plastic waste from the shoreline, working alongside the local community to reduce pollution and ensure proper recycling.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting coastal environments, and we hope it contributes to lasting solutions to tackle plastic pollution.
