LIV Golf UK made significant strides by incorporating 100% renewable energy sources such as HVO, battery storage, and mains electricity into its operations. This commitment to green practices extended well beyond energy use, showcasing a strong focus on local engagement and resource conservation.

The event worked closely with 29 suppliers, with 89% based in the UK and 20% local to Derby, reflecting a dedication to supporting local and national businesses. Sustainability efforts included the reuse of 90% of temporary structures spanning 10,128m², minimising waste and maximising efficiency. Additionally, 12 tonnes of sand and 1,080m² of vinyl were repurposed for local community projects, reinforcing a circular approach to resource management.

Volunteers also played a key role, with 432 individuals participating, 88% of whom were from the UK and 45% from the Derby area, helping demonstrate our investment in the local workforce. Together, these efforts contributed to a successful event that balanced operational excellence with environmental and social responsibility.
