Headfort Golf Club is committed to making golf welcoming and accessible and to using its facilities to provide a positive benefit to the wider community. For the past two years, Headfort has been proud to host events for the Disabled and Inclusive Golf Association (DIGA), welcoming golfers with disabilities to the club to participate and compete. Hosting these events has provided an opportunity for the club’s staff, members and volunteers to support inclusive golf while helping to create a welcoming environment for golfers of different abilities. The events have also strengthened Headfort’s relationship with the wider golfing community and increased awareness within the club of the importance of accessibility and inclusion. Headfort is proud of its ongoing relationship with DIGA and sees initiatives such as these as an important part of the club’s wider social responsibility.
