During the summer of 2025, in the lead-up to the Wimbledon Championships, the team at Fairmont St Andrews collaborated closely with the local tennis club and Tennis Scotland to create a temporary grass tennis court on the driving range tee.
The court was in active use for 10 days and featured a community event that welcomed the local tennis professional, junior players, and Jonny O'Mara, who delivered an engaging clinic and Q&A session.
Following the event, the court remained available for use by the local community, with all participation donations directed back to the local tennis club. This initiative strengthened community engagement while promoting accessible sport participation within the region.
