Naast The Daylight Challenge staat onze golfclub ook open voor goede doelen initiatieven van haar leden. In september 2022 kwam het verzoek om eind november een wedstrijd te organiseren voor Pink Ribbon. Pink Ribbon haalt geld op voor projecten en onderzoek om borstkanker te voorkomen en om het beter te kunnen behandelen. De club stelde de baan beschikbaar en de 3 organisatoren gingen hard aan het werk. Zowel de club alsook de horeca dacht goed mee en bood de organisatie de ruimte om zoveel mogelijk geld voor het onderzoek naar borstkanker in te zamelen. Iedereen kent wel iemand in zijn of haar omgeving die te maken heeft met deze, met name, vrouwen ziekte. Ondanks dat de wedstrijd laat in het jaar plaatsvond, schreven 46 leden en gastspelers zich in. 26 November vond de Boobs & Borrels wedstrijd plaats. De golfbaan en het clubhuis kleurden deze dag Pink. Het weer werkte mee. De deelnemers waren enthousiast. Horeca en de vrijwilligers hebben gezorgd voor een geweldige ambiance. De Boobs en Borrels dames mochten het bedrag van € 2800 op de roze cheque noteren. Een spontaan initiatief heeft geresulteerd in een geweldig resultaat waar wij als club met zijn allen trots op mogen z

In addition to The Daylight Challenge, our golf club is also open to charity initiatives from its members. In September 2022 the request came to organize a competition at the end of November for Pink Ribbon. Pink Ribbon raises money for projects and research to prevent and better treat breast cancer.
The club made the course available, and the 3 organizers started their work. Both the club and the catering services thought well ahead and offered the organization the space to raise as much money as possible for breast cancer research. Everyone knows someone in his or her surroundings who is dealing with this women's disease. Despite the fact that the golf match, Boobs and Borrels took place late in the year, 46 members and guest players signed up. The golf course and clubhouse was colored this day Pink.
The weather cooperated and the participants were enthusiastic. Hospitality and the volunteers provided a great ambiance. The Boobs and Borrel ladies were allowed to note the amount of € 2800 on the pink check. A spontaneous initiative has resulted in a great result which we as a club can all be proud of.
