This year, we completed the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the roofs of our maintenance facilities, marking a significant step toward cleaner and more efficient energy use. The new system now produces a substantial share of the electricity needed to power both the buildings and our growing fleet of electric maintenance machinery.
By generating renewable energy on-site, we reduce reliance on external power sources, lower operating costs, and minimise the club’s overall carbon footprint. This initiative supports GEO’s sustainability principles and strengthens our long-term strategy to modernise operations, reduce emissions, and adopt environmentally responsible technologies.
The solar installation represents a major milestone in aligning course maintenance with renewable-energy solutions that benefit both the environment and the club’s future resilience.
