Subject: Installation of Solar Panels at Golfbaan Het Rijk van Margraten
Description of the measure: As part of our sustainability objectives, Golfbaan Het Rijk van Margraten has installed 272 solar panels with a total capacity of 66 kW. This installation makes a significant contribution to our energy management and sustainability efforts.
Impact and savings: Thanks to this investment, we currently generate approximately 5% of our total electricity consumption on-site. This results in an estimated 50% reduction in our electricity costs, primarily due to reduced dependency on grid electricity during peak hours.
Objective and future vision: With this initiative, we are taking clear steps towards energy independence and a reduction in our CO₂ emissions. We will continue to actively monitor opportunities to further increase our share of self-generated renewable energy in the future.
