In spring, we prepared and seeded seven areas across the golf course to establish new wildflower meadows. Following favourable rainfall, these areas have flourished into vibrant displays of native wildflowers, providing valuable habitat and food sources for pollinators such as bees and butterflies, as well as supporting birds and small mammals.
The meadows have transformed the visual appeal of the course and have attracted positive attention from golfers over recent weeks. Beyond their aesthetic value, they play an important role in enhancing biodiversity and demonstrate how thoughtful course management can benefit both nature and the playing experience.
