This year’s event showcased innovation across energy, community, and inclusivity.
(1) On energy, the event achieved 19% of total power from renewable sources by combining solar lighting towers with renewable mains electricity, supported by efficiency measures like optimised generator layouts and 100% LED lighting.
(2) In community engagement, 76% of suppliers were sourced from South Australia and 97% from across Australia, strengthening the local economy and ensuring sustainable procurement.
(3) On inclusion and wellbeing, the event expanded to three Autism SA sensory rooms, delivered All Abilities Assessor Training, and introduced a robust Extreme Heat Mitigation Plan with refill stations, reusable bottles, and free SPF protection for fans, staff, and volunteers.
Together, these actions demonstrate how LIV Golf Adelaide is embedding sustainability and inclusion at every level of event delivery.
