Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club invested in its sand spreader to enhance the condition of fairways and semi-rough areas. This involved sourcing sand from our native sand pit, meticulously screening it, and then loading it into the sand spreader.
As part of our regular maintenance routine, we apply a top dressing to the fairways every Monday. This approach not only improves fairway conditions but also results in cost savings. By utilising our own sand resources, we eliminate the need to import sand, avoid equipment rental expenses and eliminate transportation costs.
