As part of the club’s sustainability efforts, VKGK has invested in robotic mowers for the golf course. Continuous mowing creates healthier and more consistent playing surfaces, enhancing course quality and improving the playing experience for both members and visitors. At the same time, the need for traditional machine mowing is reduced, contributing to lower energy consumption and a smaller environmental footprint. The investment has also improved the flow of play on the course, as golfers are less likely to encounter or have to wait for manual mowing operations during their rounds. For the club’s employees, the introduction of robotic mowing has created a better working environment through reduced noise levels, fewer repetitive tasks, and greater opportunities to focus on course quality, development, and improvement initiatives across the facility.
