In a bid to get the next generation motivated and excited for golf, the youth committee developed two special programs: Rising Stars and Noordwijk Nursery. Rising Stars (4 to 7 years): For the youngest, they organise a Rising Stars clinic (facilitated by NGF). In a playful way, young kids are introduced to the fun of golf. With special equipment (SNAG golf for kids) the pros teach the basics of the game. All (grand) children of members are invited. Nursery (8 to 12 years): A pro and a dolphin (young, low handicap top-player) are training this group of max 8 kids in putting, chipping and swinging. They also make them familiar with the right golf-attitude and the rules of golf. After three lessons of two hours, the kids are allowed to join in with 9-hole rounds on a Saturday afternoon. And if they like it, they can become a member!
