2022 saw record-high temperatures throughout the UK, bringing with it extreme drought conditions. Luckily, the timely completion of our 10,000m³ reservoir meant that the irrigated surfaces didn't suffer.
The new reservoir has also allowed us to utilise the borehole to its full potential. Previously we were operating at approximately 80% mains water, 20% borehole. This has now changed to 100% borehole.
Irrigation is currently present on greens and tees, however, with this new sustainable water source we will be extending the system to the approaches.
