As part of its commitment to reducing waste and promoting more sustainable practices, Abama Golf has begun replacing single-use plastic water bottles with refill stations across its facilities.
The initiative started in the maintenance facility, where refill stations are already in daily use by staff. Following the success of this first phase, Abama Golf is now expanding the programme across the golf course, providing convenient access to drinking water while encouraging the use of reusable bottles.
The project aims to reduce the consumption of disposable plastic bottles, minimise waste generation, and promote environmental awareness among employees, golfers, and visitors. By making drinking water readily available, the initiative supports more sustainable habits without compromising the user experience.
