Le Golf Club de Sion a accueilli, le 2 mai 2026, une journée exceptionnelle organisée par Swiss ParaGolf, marquée par l’intégration officielle de l’association au sein de Swiss Golf depuis le début de l’année. Sur le parcours sédunois, amateurs et paragolfeurs ont partagé une expérience sportive et humaine forte, illustrant les valeurs d’inclusion, de respect et de convivialité. Dans une ambiance chaleureuse et ensoleillée, les participants ont démontré que le golf est un sport accessible à toutes et à tous, quelles que soient les capacités physiques. Pour Patrick Rosenast, président de Swiss ParaGolf, cette journée symbolise parfaitement la mission de l’association : favoriser l’accès au golf pour chacun et renforcer sa reconnaissance au niveau national grâce à son intégration à Swiss Golf. L’organisateur Patrick Maurin a souligné l’importance de ces rencontres, qui permettent de dépasser les barrières par le sport et la solidarité. De son côté, Stéphane Tavernier, président du Golf Club de Sion, a réaffirmé l’engagement du club en faveur de l’inclusion et son soutien aux initiatives de Swiss ParaGolf.
