Sinds 2018 heeft de Hilversumsche Golf Club zich verbonden aan het Prinses Máxima Centrum voor Kinderoncologie. Jaarlijks krijgen ongeveer 600 kinderen in Nederland kanker. Nog steeds overlijdt één op de vier kinderen met kanker aan deze ziekte. Daarom namen ouders en zorgprofessionals meer dan tien jaar geleden het initiatief voor één nationaal kinderoncologisch centrum. Dat initiatief is uitgemond in het Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie. Een uniek centrum waar alle hoog complexe zorg en research voor kinderen met kanker bij elkaar komt. In 2019 vond een bedank-event voor private sponsoren van het Centrum en een kinderclinic voor kinderen met kanker plaats . Het Prinses Máxima Centrum is onze ‘reversed sponsor’ van hole 17 en was daarmee ook uitgenodigd bij onze eigen sponsorbedankdag. Ook in 2020 zullen er meerdere events bij ons georganiseerd worden, waaronder het Prinses Máxima Centrum Golftoernooi op 24 juni 2020 en het Máxima Short Game Toernooi.
2021
Since 2018, the Hilversumsche Golf Club has been affiliated with the Princess Máxima Centre for Pediatric Oncology. Every year about 600 children in the Netherlands get cancer and one in four children with cancer still die from this disease. That is why more than ten years ago, parents and healthcare professionals took the initiative for one national pediatric oncology centre. This initiative has resulted in the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology. A unique centre where all highly complex care and research for children with cancer comes together. In 2019, a thank-you event for private sponsors of the Center and a children's clinic for children with cancer took place. The Princess Máxima Center is our 'reversed sponsor' of hole 17 and was therefore also invited to our own sponsor thank you day. Several events will also be organized with us in 2020, including the Princess Máxima Center Golf Tournament on June 24, 2020 and the Máxima Short Game Tournament.
