In 2022 werd het statiegeld op petflesjes geïntroduceerd. Sportclubs werden benaderd om mee te doen aan de actie om petflesjes in te zamelen voor een goed doel binnen hun club. Gepersonaliseerd promotie materiaal en een oranje container werd aangeleverd. Een prima initiatief waar wij als club graag aan meewerken. In ons clubhuis en in de nieuwsbrief wordt er regelmatig aandacht aan besteed. Wij zamelen de petflesjes in voor de jeugdcommissie zodat zij wat extra’s kunnen gaan doen voor de jonge spelers van onze vereniging. Naast de kleine flesjes werden ook alle grote petflessen van de horeca ingezameld. Voor het eerste jaar mogen we tevreden zijn met de opbrengst. De jeugd heeft een mooie bijdrage van ruim €300 mogen ontvangen. Worden alle petflesjes ingezameld? Nee, nog niet, maar we zijn op de goede weg. Ieder jaar aan het begin van het golfseizoen dienen we alle golfspelers weer bewust te maken van hun belangrijke taak. Afval scheiden, ook in de baan. Samen sterk voor een groene toekomst.

A deposit for PET bottles was introduced in 2022. Sports clubs were approached to join the campaign to collect PET bottles for a good cause within their club. Personalised promotional material and an orange container were provided, a great initiative that we as a club are happy to participate in.
We collect the PET bottles for the youth committee so they can do something extra for the young players of our club. In addition to the small bottles, all large PET bottles from the hospitality industry were also collected. For the first year, we can be satisfied with the proceeds. The youth committee received a nice contribution of over €300. Will all PET bottles be collected? No, not yet, but we are on the right track. Every year at the start of the golf season, we should again make all golfers aware of their important tasks to separate waste. Together strong for a green future.
