Our ambition for the event is to attract partners that are aligned with our sustainability mission and in support of that, we worked with various partners in advance of the tournament to integrate their sustainability actions into ours.
Whilst our partners obliged with our action plan, Highland Spring and Reflo both provided significant support in the sustainability space. Highland Spring provide a full360 recycling operation for their plastic water bottles, which was managed by Enva who achieved zero waste to landfill for the event. Reflo provided event uniform for staff and volunteers, all made from recycled materials.
