Our course underwent a waste management transformation at the beginning of the 2023 season. We replaced the 20 traditional garbage bins with three sets of three compartments, facilitating selective waste sorting.
The new system streamlines recycling efforts, making waste sorting easier for everyone involved. By eliminating the daily collection of 20 bins using utility vehicles, we achieve energy savings and reduce our carbon footprint. Moreover, our team now enjoys significant time savings, allowing them to allocate more resources to course maintenance tasks. To guide and inform users, we are also in the process of developing explanatory panels that will provide clear instructions on proper waste disposal.
