In 2023, the Gams-Werdenberg Golf Club started as a participant in the GEO project (Golf Environmental Organization) in collaboration with the national golf association Swiss Golf. We actively promote biodiversity on the golf course and strive for sustainable management. As the first visible project, four bee colonies were set up in collaboration with organic beekeeper Peter Gemper from Gams, who brought in the first delicious summer honey. A total of 120,000 bees roam the approximately 65-hectare site.
