Opening the golf course up to the community

2021

De lokale school, het Winkler Prins college, heeft diverse sportlessen op de golfbaan gehouden.
Een aantal leerlingen heeft een greenkeepers stage gelopen bij de hovenier op de golfbaan.
Een aantal leerlingen hebben vakantiewerk gedaan in het baanonderhoud.
Schoolklassen werd toegang verleend voor biologie onderwijs.
Als onderrdeel van "Veendam beweegt" 3 dagen clinics voor mensen uit de gemeenschap.

2021

The local college, The Winkler Prins college, has conducted several golf lessons on our golf course.
A number of students did an internship with on-the-job training for greenkeeping on the golf course.
A few students have been involved in greenkeeping jobs during summer holidays.
School classes were given access to the golf course for biology studies.
Open day for all non-golfers including youth.
As part of "Veendam moves" three days of clinics for all members of the community.
