Onsite sand removal and storage for sustainable top dressing

In our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have recently expanded our sand waste area located between the 8th and 9th holes. This extension now extends in front of the 10th tee complex. By removing and storing this excess sand, we have created an opportunity to utilise it for future top dressing activities across the course, excluding the putting surfaces.

The materials extracted from these newly developed areas are carefully stored in our composting area. Here, they undergo a screening process to prepare them for use as top dressing or for filling up bunkers. This approach not only allows us to efficiently manage the resources within our course but also significantly reduces our carbon footprint. By eliminating the need to rely on transportation companies for importing materials, we minimise the environmental impact associated with transportation.
