Carnoustie Golf Links is home to rich biodiversity, with habitats that support wildlife year-round. To help visitors explore and appreciate this natural beauty, we've introduced a Nature Trail Map featuring accessible walking and wheeling routes around the courses.
These trails guide users through key ecological areas without impacting golf play, offering a chance to spot wildflowers, birds, butterflies, and more. The trail promotes education, inclusion, and wellbeing—welcoming walkers, families, and school groups to engage with the environment.
Accompanied by interpretive materials, the map helps raise awareness of biodiversity and showcases how thoughtful land management can benefit both nature and people. It also supports our sustainability goals and complements existing publications like our Environmental Booklet.
As the estate evolves, the map will be updated, creating a dynamic experience for all who wish to explore the wild side of Carnoustie.
