At Hirsala Golf, the installation of nesting boxes for starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) and owls is a core component of our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategy. By providing suitable habitats for these natural predators, Hirsala Golf reduces the need for chemical pesticides and promotes a healthy, balanced ecosystem across the course.
By implementing these nesting boxes, we aim to promote natural perst control, biodiversity enhancement and ecological resilience strengthening, while also being a leader in sustainability.
