A natural wall has been created on the course for a more natural feel. In 2021, spent gorse was partially removed and excess branches were used to create a natural border.
This is an ideal shelter for hares, birds, many kinds of insects, and other fauna. A wall of branches offers protection from the wind and with a little patience can grow into a green hedge again.
