Since 2012, we’ve been monitoring the presence of newts on the course, with a particular focus on the Great Crested Newt, a priority species in our region. The Alpine Newt and Smooth Newt are also included in the survey work.
Over time, numbers have steadily increased — a clear sign of the golf course’s value as a habitat for wildlife.
