Den skogskant som går från hål 5 och förbi tee på hål 6 utgör den norra delen av en ca 10 ha stor alsumpskog. Den är klassad av Skogsstyrelsen som en Nyckel-biotop och innehåller därmed mycket höga naturvärden. Bland annat finns den ovanliga mossviolen där. Sumpskogen är välutbildad och av urskogskaraktär med relativt opåverkad hydrologi. I Uppsala län finns bara en alsumpskog som är lika välutvecklad.

The forest edge that runs from hole 5 and past hole 6 constitutes the northern part of an approximately 10 hectare alsump forest. It is classified by the Forest Agency as a key biotope and thus contains very high natural values. Among other things, there is the unusual moss violin there. The swamp forest is well-developed and of primeval nature with relatively unaffected hydrology. In Uppsala county there is only one alsump forest that is equally well developed.
