Acid grasslands represent a habitat which in widespread decline across the country, making all remnants highly valuable in biodiversity terms. Treats for the sharp-eyed golfer include tormentil, devil’s bit scabious, sneezewort, harebell, mountain pansy and heath spotted orchid.
