Royal Greens Golf Club has and will continue planting local Saudi plants to ensure a perfect adaptation to the natural environment.

A number of ten different plants between bushes and trees have been located recently in the clubhouse and Golf Course just today 22nd September and will be continuing during the week.

The list of the plants is the following:

  • Euphorbia. 300 plants
  • Ixora coccinea 600 plants
  • Tecoma capensis 200 plants
  • Tradescantia pallida 300 plants
  • Terminalia catappa 50 plants
  • Nerium oleander 20 plants
  • Ficus microcarpa 50 plants
  • Ruellia simplex 1000 plants
  • Acacia Arabica 20 trees

Acacia Arabica trees are tolerant of extreme heat, drought, and salinity. It needs minimal water to survive and can retain water. The acacia is a true habitat for many species of birds. And this helps achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
