As part of its commitment towards the environment, Terre Blanche decided to remove single-use plastics from the resort, including the golf courses. Terre Blanche Golf used to give each golfer two bottles of water for their round. These plastic bottles have now been replaced by mineralized water bricks made of 100% recyclable packaging mainly from renewable resources and come with a sugarcane fibre cap. Produced by « DropbyDrop » company, these bricks are of premium quality and are FSC® certified in order to reduce the environmental footprint as much as possible. This new initiative comes in addition to the eradication of plastic straws and drinking cups that has already been undertaken in 2019 throughout the resort.
