A solar power system has been installed on the roof of the maintenance building at Yyteri Golf. The renewable electricity generated is primarily used to power the pumps of the course’s Rain Bird irrigation system, reducing reliance on external energy sources and supporting low-carbon course operations.
In 2025, the solar power system produced a total of 24,600 MWh of electricity.
The irrigation water is sourced from natural, spring-fed ponds located within the course area, contributing to responsible water management and reducing the demand for freshwater resources. This integrated approach combines renewable energy production with sustainable water use and demonstrates our commitment to resource efficiency.
