Installing SOX erosion control system to reclaim lost shoreline

SOX Erosion Control is an environmentally friendly and sustainable way to control shoreline erosion and sediment runoff, which can be harmful to aquatic ecosystems and wildlife on our site.

It is a lightweight, flexible, patented HDPE-technical mesh that is laid on top of an eroded shorline and then filled with native material to create a new "shoreline". SOX Erosion Control is a cost-effective alternative to traditional erosion control methods such as concrete barriers, rip-rap, and retaining walls. It is more aesthetically pleasing than traditional erosion control methods, as it promotes vegetative growth by utilising existing turf or plant life on top the finished product that blend in with the surrounding environment.

SOX Erosion Control is easy to install and requires minimal maintenance. Unlike traditional erosion control methods that can be time-consuming and labour-intensive to install, SOX Erosion Control can be quickly installed by a small team of workers.
